Represent EPC contractor's interests in vendor's implementation of
process control and safety systems for an offshore gas wellhead and
processing platform, including factory acceptance testing and approval.
- Chemical
Processing
- Nerve Agent Chief I&C engineer
for commissioning and operating a facility which neutralizes VX nerve
agent. Uses DeltaV DCS, Siemens Quadlog safety PLC, and A-B Control
Logix. Total I/O count is 3200.
- Melamine Represent owner's
interests with EPC contractor for $74M grassroots plant using melamine
M-IV process; develop a controls upgrade project for an existing M-I
plant, including identification of profit opportunities, design of
advanced control strategies, and project justification; Develop and
implement a small data acquisition/historian installation using DeltaV.
- Phosphoric acid Assist with
commissioning of a $90M purified phosphoric acid plant using a 5000 I/O
DeltaV DCS with Foundation Fieldbus and HART instrumentation.

- Ore
Conveying and Storage Design controls, program PLC's and
MMI's and start up of electrical controls and interlocks for 2.5K
ton/hour system.

- Marine Vapor Recovery Update and commission
algorithms in PLC's for control of thermal oxidizer and gas compressor,
including safety shutdowns and interface to DCS.
- Product Handling Add pneumatic and
electrical operators for 65 block valves, along with design of
associated power distribution, PLC programming and DCS interfaces.

- Gasoline, diesel and jet fuel

Design system including measurements, PLC calculations and programming,
interface to DCS and accounting systems, and initial proving of system.

- De-Waxing of Lubricating Oil Design, program and
interface a PLC-based controls upgrade.

systems for monitoring tanks, controlling pumping and making
measurements for custody transfer and inventory accounting.

development and ontPing of two types of interfaces from TDC 3000 to
tankfield instrumentation.

for block valves in pumping systems, along with design of associated
power distribution, PLC programming and computer interfaces.
- Systems Integration Support of a
supervisory control system covering 700 tanks and 150 PLC's controlling
hundreds of pumps and valves and monitoring custody transfers.

in-line product blending with analyzer feedback.
